Commercial

Commercial framing without the guesswork

Multi-piece framing fails on the details. These are the parts we ask about before anything is priced.

Commercial Framing
  • Consistency across a set of works, so a group reads as one collection.
  • Quantity handled as a project rather than a series of one-off orders.
  • Repeat specifications recorded so later stages can match earlier ones.
  • Material availability checked before a detailed quotation is confirmed.
  • Realistic production planning based on the work involved.
  • Collection, delivery and installation organised and quoted separately.
  • Staged projects sequenced around site access and occupancy.

How it works

Four stages, from a first description of the work through to a detailed quotation.

  1. 1

Tell us what you are framing

Choose paper, canvas, memorabilia and objects, or something unusual.

  2. 2

    Define the project

Dimensions, framing configuration, quantity, services and timing.

  3. 3

    Receive the indicative estimate

A price range with the assumptions and exclusions written out.

  4. 4

Request a detailed quote only if you want to proceed

Nothing is sent to production until you ask for a detailed quotation.

What affects the price

Six variables account for most of the difference between one framing project and another.

Frame profile

Width, depth and finish of the moulding used.

Finished dimensions

The overall size once framing is added.

Glazing

Clear glass, Perspex or lower-reflection art glass.

Matboards

Mat type and how many mats are used.

Mounting and conservation

How the work is held and protected.

Quantity

How many pieces are produced together.
