Information we collect

We only collect information that you choose to give us. We do not ask for identity documents, payment card details or financial information through this website.

• Project details you enter into the estimator, including item type, dimensions, materials, quantity, extra services and your preferred timeframe.
• Any reference photographs you upload, together with the file name and size.
• Contact details you provide, including your full name, email address, phone number, and business or organisation name where supplied.
• Free-text notes, such as a description of the item or additional information about the project.
• Basic technical information generated when you use the site, such as your browser type and the pages you visit.

Why we collect it

• To produce an indicative estimate from the answers you supply.
• To prepare a detailed quotation when you request one, or when a project needs manual review.
• To contact you about your enquiry and to clarify the requirements of the project.
• To arrange collection, delivery or installation where you have asked for those services.
• To improve the estimator, the pricing guidance and the website itself.

Marketing and consent

Consent to be contacted about your enquiry is required before an estimate can be sent, because we cannot answer an enquiry without replying to you.

Marketing consent is entirely separate and always optional. We only send occasional updates about framing services if you tick the marketing option, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by replying to any message we send or by using the contact form. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect any active enquiry.

Who we share information with

Sydney enquiries are currently fulfilled by Amarisco Framing, an established custom framing workshop based in Artarmon and operating since 1976. Your project details, reference photographs and contact details are shared with the fulfilment workshop so that the work can be measured, quoted and produced.

We also use service providers for website hosting and email delivery, who process information on our behalf and only for those purposes. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law.

Storage and security

Information submitted through this website is stored on services operated by our hosting and email providers, which may store or process data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure, including access controls and encrypted connections.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive personal information, such as health or financial information, through the estimator or the contact form.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and estimate records are kept for as long as needed to answer the enquiry and to support any resulting order, and then for a further period where we are required to keep business records. Reference photographs are kept only for as long as they are needed to quote and complete the project, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

Accessing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the contact form and include enough detail to identify your enquiry, such as your estimate reference. We will respond within a reasonable period, and we will tell you if there is a legal reason we cannot act on part of a request.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses your browser's local session storage to remember your estimator answers so you do not lose your progress if you navigate away. That information stays in your browser until you clear it or select Start over. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Complaints

If you believe your privacy has been mishandled, contact us first through the contact form so we can investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

We may update this policy as the service develops. The current version always appears on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
