Custom framing for the things you want to keep
Artwork, photographs, prints, canvas works, jerseys and objects can all be framed to suit the piece and the room it will live in.
The estimator asks what the item is, how large it is and how you would like it presented, then returns an indicative price range in writing.
What can be framed
Four supported categories cover most residential projects.
Paper artwork, prints, photographs and certificates
Works on paper are framed with a chosen glazing and, where appropriate, one or more matboards. The estimator recommends a frame width suited to the size of the work.
Canvas, oil paintings and panels
Stretched canvas, unstretched canvas and rigid panels can be presented without framing, in a float frame or in a rebate frame. Canvas work is normally framed without glazing or mats.
Jerseys, memorabilia and objects
Three-dimensional items are framed in a deeper construction. Jerseys can be presented fully or folded, and a plaque can be included.
Other unusual items requiring review
Items that do not fit the categories above are recorded in detail and sent to the framing team for review. No automatic price is produced for these projects.
Indicative estimate or detailed quotation?
They are different things, and it is worth knowing which one you have.
Indicative estimate
An automated guide based on the information you supply. It shows a price range with the assumptions and exclusions written out, and is emailed to you. It is not a binding quotation.
Detailed quotation
Prepared only after you explicitly request one. The framing team reviews the item, measurements, materials and requirements, and may contact you to clarify the project before confirming a price.
